Two Realtors, Same Office: The Case for Personally Branded Images

In a field like real estate, your brand isn’t your logo—it’s you. When you and the person next to you offer the same services through the same brokerage, the thing that sets you apart isn’t your title. It’s your tone, your style, and your energy.
That’s why I love doing personal branding sessions for service-based professionals. One size never fits all. The way you show up online should reflect what clients can actually expect when they meet you in real life.
Here’s a look at two completely different—but equally authentic—brand sessions for two realtors who work at the same agency.
Jayne: Polished, Timeless, and Unshakably Experienced
Jayne is the definition of grace and professionalism. With decades of experience under her belt, she brings a steady, confident presence to her work—and she’s got a natural eye for staging and style that makes everything she touches feel elevated. Her personal brand is classic and warm, with a no-nonsense edge that her clients love.

We wanted her photos to reflect that timelessness and polish. We shot in her well-styled home with elegant details and clean natural light, and even at a nearby hotel with a palette that suited her energy perfectly—structured, serene, and elevated without being overdone.
Jayne gravitates toward classic neutrals and clean lines, with just enough softness to keep things approachable. Her photos aren’t trendy—they’re lasting.

Key session elements:
Warm, polished interior with natural textures and elevated décor
Clean, timeless wardrobe with soft movement and structure
Confident, grounded body language to match her experience
Moments of warmth and elegance, without being overly posed
Why It Works: Jayne’s photos speak to a client who values professionalism, expertise, and subtle luxury. Her images show her as someone who’s trustworthy, composed, and genuinely invested in helping them make the best decisions possible.
Emily: Soulful, Intuitive, and Unapologetically Herself
Emily brings something completely different to the table—and she owns it. A singer with a deep love for energy work and spiritual healing, she helps her clients navigate home-buying with intuition, empathy, and authenticity. She talks openly about her journey through addiction and growth, and how that helps her connect with clients on a deeper level.
I worked with Emily many times and we always built her sessions around that sense of openness and soul. Sometimes we leaned into the corporate nature of her field, but always with an 'Emily' twist.

Whether we were outdoors, or in a funky, lived-in space filled with plants, or against darker backdrops that echoed her Scorpio side, the goal was the same: reflect her capability without hiding her laid back, spiritual nature. She didn't want her photos to say "I can sell you a home," but instead, "I want to help you find your place in the world."

Key session elements:
Eclectic interiors filled with personality and soul
Expressive wardrobe with personal flair
Corporate meets candid vibe
Bold colors and textures, with elements of a spiritual tone
Why It Works: Emily’s clients aren’t looking for perfection—they’re looking for connection. Her images reflect exactly what she brings to her work: presence, honesty, and a feeling of alignment. If you’re looking for someone who just gets it, that’s the message her photos send.
Same Office, Two Stories
Working with Jayne and Emily at the same time really reinforced why personal branding matters. It’s not about selling a product—it’s about showing who you are. And when your branding and photos reflect your personality, values, and vibe, the right clients are that much more likely to find you and feel that click.
These two may work for the same agency, but they’re telling totally different stories— each one calling in the right clients for them.
Thinking about a brand session of your own? If you're a service provider, or someone whose work is built on trust and connection, I'd love to create something together!
xx Rachel
